Slice Clubhouse – Terms & ConditionsThese Terms & Conditions (“Rules”) set out the agreement between Slice Clubhouse Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and all members (“Member”, “you”, “your”). By joining Slice Clubhouse (“the Club”), you agree to pay the applicable fees and to follow these Rules.
The Company may update these Rules at any time without prior notice. Our aim is to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all members and guests.
1. DefinitionsThe Company:
Slice Clubhouse Ltd and any affiliated entities. The Club: Slice Clubhouse and its facilities. Member: Anyone with an active membership. Rules: These Terms & Conditions of membership.Membership is conditional upon acceptance of these Rules and payment of applicable fees. Slice Clubhouse welcomes everyone and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristic.
2. Membership & Fees Eligibility:
Members must be 18 years or older.
Joining & Payments: A non-refundable joining fee may apply and must be paid at sign-up. Membership fees are payable monthly in advance by Direct Debit from a UK bank account. Monthly billing runs from the 1st of each month, with charges collected between the 3rd and 6th (or next working day).
Price Changes: Fees are reviewed annually, usually on 1 January. Any changes will be communicated at least one full calendar month in advance via email.
Updates: Members must keep their contact details up to date. Communications are considered received within 5 days of posting or on the email “sent” date.
Non-payment: If fees are not paid on time, access to the Club may be suspended. After 30 days of non-payment, full outstanding amounts become due. If unpaid after 15 additional days, membership may be terminated and unpaid balances referred to a debt collection agency (including associated fees).
Transfers & Refunds: Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable unless agreed in writing. Transfers to another Slice Clubhouse location (if applicable) may incur a transfer fee and rate adjustment.
Partner Memberships: Available to partners living at the same address, subject to proof of residence.
3. Membership Cards:
A personal membership card will be issued and must be used to access the Club.Cards are non-transferable and may not be shared or lent to anyone else. Misuse of a card may lead to termination of membership without refund.Replacement cards may incur a fee.
4. Guests Members:
May bring guests by paying the prevailing guest fee or using valid guest credits (credits expire 12 months after issue or on termination of membership). All guests must:Be 18+ years old. Be accompanied by a member at all times. Register with valid ID at reception. A guest may visit a maximum of 6 times within a 12-month period before being required to join as a member. Members are responsible for their guests’ behaviour and ensuring they follow all Rules. Slice Clubhouse reserves the right to refuse guest entry at its discretion.
5. Use of Facilities & Conduct Opening Hours:
Club hours are set by the Company and may change without notice. Closures: The Club may close temporarily for repairs, events, or holidays without compensation. Lessons: Only approved staff or nominated third parties may provide coaching or professional services. Bookings require arrival at least 5 minutes early; late arrivals may forfeit sessions. Attire: Clean, appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times. Food & Drink: Only food and beverages purchased on-site may be consumed. Alcohol or illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Behaviour: Members and guests must act respectfully. Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Safety: Activities are undertaken at your own risk. Members are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate. Property: Club equipment must remain on-site and be returned after use. Cancellations: Bookings for lessons or social activities require 24 hours’ notice to cancel. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full. Phones & Media: Mobile phones are permitted, but photographing or filming other members without consent is prohibited. Pets: Animals are not permitted without prior approval. Smoking: Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the premises. CCTV: Closed-circuit cameras operate throughout the Club (excluding changing areas) for security and safety.
6. Lockers:
Lockers are available for temporary use during your visit, subject to availability.Daily lockers must be emptied after each visit.Permanent lockers (where available) require payment and remain Club property.The Club may open lockers without prior notice for security reasons.Unclaimed property may be donated to charity after 10–31 days.
7. Liability:
Slice Clubhouse is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
All activities and treatments are undertaken at your own risk.
We are not liable for personal injury except where caused by our proven negligence.
8. Health & Safety:
Members and guests confirm they are physically capable of using the facilities.
If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns (including pregnancy), consult a doctor before participating.
Do not use Club facilities if you have a contagious illness, open wounds, or any condition that could harm others.
Familiarise yourself with fire exits; lifts will not operate during an evacuation.
9. Data Protection:
Your privacy is important to us. Please see our Privacy Notice for details on how we collect, store, and process your personal data.
10. Cancellation of Membership:
Cancellation requests must be received in writing by the 1st of the final month of membership.Example: To cancel for 31 May, notice must be received by 1 May. Requests must be submitted via email or the Club’s cancellation form. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. Memberships cannot be amended during the notice period. Monthly fees and joining fees are non-refundable. Ex-members wishing to re-join will need to pay the joining fee and settle any outstanding balance.
11. Freezing Membership:
Membership freezes are at the Club’s discretion. A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required, and freezes cannot be applied retrospectively. A £25 fee applies per frozen month. Members on maternity leave may freeze their membership free of charge for up to 12 months. Freezes require a specified resume date; payments will automatically restart when the freeze ends.
12. Complaints:
We welcome feedback.
Comments or complaints should be submitted by email or through our website.
We aim to respond within 48 hours.
13. General:
The Company may assign membership agreements to a third party without notice. Only the parties to this agreement have rights under it (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply). Members should vacate practice/social bays 20 minutes before closing if they wish to shower. Annual maintenance may require occasional weekend closures.
14. Club Credit:
Any credit added to a member’s account can be used for lessons, food & beverage, or merchandise, but not for membership fees. Credit is non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid for 1 year. Referral credits may be offered under promotional terms. Credits are applied once the referred member’s membership is active.
15. Bookings & Lessons:
All lessons must be paid in advance. Lesson packs have expiry periods:10-lesson packs: 12 months5-lesson packs: 6 monthsBeginner packs: 2 months Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice or the session will be charged. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or cancellation. If a coach cancels within 24 hours or is more than 10 minutes late, you will receive a free replacement session. Unused lessons are non-refundable, even if membership is cancelled.
16. Club Visit Rules:
Practice, lesson, and social bookings must be made via the Slice Clubhouse Member App or Portal.Only one activity may be booked at any given time. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Three no-shows may result in a one-week suspension of booking rights.
By joining Slice Clubhouse, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
